Spa Etiquette
We ask you to arrive 10 minutes prior to your treatment. This allows you time to check in and relax before being taken into your treatment.
Your treatment time is approximate and will include a consultation with your therapist, as well as home care recommendations and self-care rituals to continue your experience and results at home.
If adding on the pool/spa area to your treatment this can be done before or after your treatment time, we suggest at least an hour prior to your appointment however there is no limit as to how long you stay in the area.
Unless stated in your package cost the spa area can be combined with a treatment for an additional $25.00 per person.
Your Treatment Needs
For your maximum safety and comfort, please let us know if you are under the care of a doctor or other alternative practitioner. In particular, please inform us if you are pregnant or have any allergies or health conditions so we can adapt the treatments to your needs. All Aveda treatments are suitable for men and women and are customised. As your needs vary from visit to visit, your treatments may differ.
Your Comfort
Your therapist will advise which clothes to leave on and will maintain your privacy at all times – we will provide you with a gown or robe, slippers and disposable underwear wherever required. Please advise your therapist if you are uncomfortable for any reason. Please respect the quiet and privacy needs of other guests by turning off your mobile phone and by making child-care arrangements for any appointments.
Appointments
We recommend you book appointments in advance to secure your preferred date, time and therapist for your spa experience. Credit card details or gift voucher codes are required at the time of booking. We may also contact you prior to your treatment to confirm your appointment time.
PLEASE NOTE:
If wishing to make an appointment on a Sunday or Public Holiday, please note that we do not accept gift vouchers and treatments are an extra 10% on top of menu prices.
Cancellation Policy
Guests who wish to change or cancel an appointment are kindly requested to provide 24 hrs notice or a full cancellation fee of your treatment cost will be charged to your credit card or gift voucher.

We accept Cash, Eftpos, Mastercard and Visa, Valid Gift Vouchers.
Spa/Pool/Sauna/Steamroom
$35 Casual entry, no booking required, we provide a locker.
Towels are available to hire from $5.00 per towel or you can bring your own towel.
Towel/robe and slipper pack hire from $10.00
Please note there is no time limit in this area however pass outs are not available.
Food and alcohol are not permitted in this area.
Bottles of water/juice are available for purchase at reception or bring your own plastic/metal water container
Bathers must be worn at all times. 16yrs and over age limit.

We are pleased to offer gift vouchers for any dollar value suitable to you. Specific requests and corporate gifts can be arranged. Gift vouchers, corporate gifts and product orders can be placed and paid for by phone or in person at Savoy Day Spa, Lower Level 38 Elizabeth Street, Hobart.
Gift vouchers purchased from 1/11/2019 are valid for 3 Years from the date of issue. Redeemable Monday to Saturday (excludes Sunday’s & Public Holidays). Lost or stolen gift vouchers cannot be replaced. Gift vouchers cannot be used to purchase another voucher. Please note refunds on gift voucher are not available.
